A2 – Start having conversations

Ik werkte gisteren thuis.| Vroeger speelde ik veel voetbal.| Wat ga je dit weekend doen?| Ik vond de film leuk!

You’ve completed A1. Now it’s time to move confidently into A2.

A2 Dutch helps you build real independence in everyday Dutch and prepares you for your official CEFR A2 certificate.

This course is designed for international learners and newcomers in the Netherlands who want to improve their Dutch online and communicate more naturally in daily life and at work.

In this course you will learn to talk about the past, share experiences, compare options, express opinions, and make plans for the future.

You will expand your vocabulary, strengthen key grammar, and practise speaking and writing in practical, real world situations.

We revisit important A1 foundations while introducing more complex sentence structures, so you can build fluency step by step with confidence.

By the end of A2 you will be ready for longer conversations, clearer communication in everyday situations, and the grammar and vocabulary required for your official Dutch A2 certification.
